The State of Alabama Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) is making changes to your AL Vantage Debit MaterCard® card services. DIR is changing from Regions Bank to Comerica Bank, and we are providing more ATM locations for your convenience at MoneyPass ATM locations. New fees may apply if you use specific services. New debit cards will be issued and mailed during the first two weeks of February 2012, and a new toll free Customer Service Number will be available for activating your new card account. Our goal is to provide a seamless transition to the new debit cards and avoid any inconvenience or disruption of service with your current payment cycles. If you do not receive the new debit card, please call the new Customer Service number below to request the new card and validate your address.
With the new prepaid debit MasterCard® card, simply spend your money by presenting your debit card at retailers or obtain cash from an ATM or bank teller windows; it is safe, convenient and secure. For your convenience, your Unemployment Compensation payments will continue to be electronically loaded to your new AL Vantage card account.
The new debit MasterCard® account provides access to your funds 24 hours a day at ATMs, bank teller windows and merchant locations, anywhere debit MasterCard® cards are accepted. Your debit card account is FDIC insured and your account is protected by your Personal Identification Number (PIN).
Your unemployment compensation deposits are posted on the banking business days after your payment is received and processed. The Department of Industrial Relations is pleased to offer you the convenience and security of the new AL Vantage debit MasterCard®.
